This site is deliberately plain: it loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers, sets no cookies and embeds no analytics or advertising services. No user tracking takes place.
When the site is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary access data (including IP address, time, file requested, volume transferred, browser identifier). This processing is required in order to deliver the page and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in technically sound and secure operation. This data is not combined with any other source.
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details solely in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in replying). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no retention obligations apply.
Analysis of your recordings takes place entirely on your device. Videos, photos and computed angles are not transmitted to us and do not leave your iPhone. No account is required.
We use RevenueCat to handle the in-app purchase; a pseudonymous identifier is processed so that your purchase status can be restored across devices. The payment itself is handled exclusively by Apple. For the data Apple collects as part of an App Store purchase, please refer to Apple's privacy policy.
The App Store lists "Purchase History" as a data type. This refers to exactly the purchase status described above; it is not linked to your identity.
We operate a profile page at instagram.com/roadfitter.de. When you visit that page, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. processes personal data, among other things for statistics on page usage. We have no influence over the nature and extent of that processing; for page insights there is joint controllership with Meta under the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Details and your rights towards Meta can be found in Instagram's privacy policy. This website itself embeds no Instagram content — the link above is a plain reference.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An informal message to info@roadfitter.de is enough.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority here is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
